Verdasys Inc.—in business process integrity solutions for data loss prevention, corporate compliance and data security—announced that Toshiba Corporation, in high technology, chose Digital Guardian to protect and manage their intellectual property in China. Digital Guardian will be used to safeguard corporate data on their corporate network, laptops, PCs and servers through monitoring and preventing confidential data from being misused by automatically enforcing established business policies.
Toshiba sought a solution to manage and guard the use and flow of their proprietary corporate information specifically involving their product concepts and designs. They are a global manufacturer and marketer of advanced electronic and electrical products, spanning information and communications equipment and systems, Internet-based solutions and services, electronic components and materials, power systems, industrial and social infrastructure systems, and household appliances.
