Foxconn, a manufacturer of computers, mobile telephones, and consumer electronics, has announced its expansion in India and named Jupiter International Limited (JIL) as its channel partner.

JIL will introduce Foxconn's Intel G965 and 945GZ motherboards and others to distributors and retailers nationwide. Other products available in India are Intel Socket 775 platform, along with AMD solution SIS 760GX, GeForce 6100 series and AM2 platform VIA K8M890. The company has also announced a three-year warranty support and local RMA service to push motherboards products into local market.

Vincent Yuan, VP of channel innovation & service group (CISG) of Foxconn, said, "The move to India was several years in the making, but we did not want to be precipitous. We wanted to know about the users, the channel, and local preferences before leaping into the market. We used the same kind of care choosing our partner in India. We wanted a long-term partner who could help demonstrate our product to everyone in the channel, all the way to the end-user. That is why we have chosen to launch our Indian business with JIL."
