Samsung invests in PhaseLink

PhaseLink Corporation-a fabless semiconductor IC company in frequency timing generation solutions for digital consumer, communication, and storage products markets-announced that Samsung Ventures, the Samsung Electronics' venture investment organization, has invested in the company for an undisclosed amount.

PhaseLink is expected to use the funding to expand its market share and streamline its manufacturing capabilities, enhancing its customer support. PhaseLink has been a key contributor to the frequency generation and Synthesis markets, with many 'First to Market' products. Analog Frequency Multipiler, PhasorV, PicoPLL, Triangular Modulation EMI Reduction Clocks, etc., are some of the broad product line offered by PhaseLink.

Bill Byun, managing director of Samsung Ventures, said, "We're pleased to invest in company with broad product line and consecutive years of profitability. We view PhaseLink as a market trend setter and we're excited about our mutual cooperation on multiple areas."
