Measurement Computing's USB and PCI boards ready for Windows Vista

(Product News, 26 Apr 2007 )

Measurement Computing Corporation has announced support for Windows Vista across its USB- and PCI-based product lines. MCC's support for Microsoft's newest operating system will provide seamless migration and investment protection for MCC-based applications.

"Because of the advertised security improvements, the new search and navigation features, and the fact that most new PCs are shipping with it," Measurement Computing marketing director, Jim Ficaro, remarked, "many of our customers will be switching over to the Vista operating system-it's inevitable. So we're making sure that when they do switch, we're ready for them, and that the transition for MCC's USB and PCI data acquisition products and applications is effortless."

The new drivers and upgrades to Measurement Computing's industry-leading Universal Library(tm) allow engineers and technicians to set up data acquisition applications with MCC hardware, and program in C, C++, C#, or Visual Basic languages with Windows Vista compatibility.

The latest version of Universal Library will ship free with all Measurement Computing USB and PCI boards, beginning today. It is also available now as a free download to all current Universal Library customers.
