Honeywell Enters Flow Meter Market, Debuts High-Performance Devices

(Interviews, 12 Jun 2007 )

Honeywell is launching a new line of high-performance flow meters. The Honeywell VersaFlow line, which is debuting at this week's Honeywell Users Group Symposium in Phoenix, features Electromagnetic, Coriolis, Ultrasonic and Vortex flow meters. Krohne, a highly respected maker of process devices, will manufacture the flow meters to Honeywell's standards for quality, performance and reliability. The flow meters will be distributed and supported on a global basis through Honeywell's existing sales and distribution organization.

The launch of the VersaFlow line marks Honeywell's entry into the flow meter market and the strategic expansion of its field-device portfolio.

"Our customers were asking for more types of process measurement devices compatible with our automation and control solutions," said Revathi Advaithi, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Field Solutions. "By combining Krohne's expertise and Honeywell's global sales and support network, we’re giving our customers exactly what they want—a single source for Level 1 field devices and system solutions."
