(Interviews, 29 Jun 2007 )

NXP Semiconductors has appointed Samuel Mang as Senior Vice President and Greater China Sales Manager and Mike Yeh as the Regional Executive of China. Both executives will report directly to Pascal Langlois, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Tony Lear, the incumbent Senior Vice President and Regional Executive for Greater China, will retire in June.

Playing a key role at NXP Greater China, Tony Lear, has made notable contributions to this region since he was in this place in 2003. After his retirement, Samuel Mang and Mike Yeh will continue to lead the company providing tailor-made solutions for customers in the areas of Home, Mobile & Personal, Auto & Identification and MMS, critical growth areas in the region where NXP is strongly positioned.

Mang and Yeh joined NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors) in 1982 and have more than 20 years of experiences in the industry. Mang and Yeh's strong experience and relationship with Chinese customers has helped NXP to become one of the top three semiconductors suppliers in China. In the future, Mang will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the Greater China region and continue to focus on delivering products that provide better sensory experiences to customers. Yeh will be regional executive of NXP China as well as play the role of vice president and GM of BL Standard TV Systems of NXP Global.
