LogicalApps Opens India R&D Center

LogicalApps, the provider of embedded governance software for enterprise applications, announced the opening of a new research and development facility in Hyderabad, India. The new Indian facility will augment R&D efforts at the company's US facilities in New York, NY and at its headquarters in Irvine, CA while extending the company's customer support to 24-hours a day.

India operations will be headed by Jag Padala who has over 15 years of IT experience in the enterprise software industry. Padala has been with LogicalApps since 2002 leading the US engineering team before returning to Hyderabad to launch LogicalApps operations in India.

Jag Padala, vice president India operations at LogicalApps, said: "We are recruiting technical experts who are passionate about developing the best solutions to add value to ACTIVE Governance, which is already recognized as the leading controls automation solution for the Oracle market. We have built a strong team here and are well prepared to help extend this leading position to other platforms and accelerate the delivery to market of the company's next generation offerings."

Tom Tobin, senior vice president of product development at LogicalApps, stated: "We are proud of the world class engineering organization we have built in the US and the opening of our India center extends our ability to maintain and develop current versions of our products while giving us the flexibility to add engineering resources where needed as we bring new products to market."
