Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. has announced the expansion of its successful "Xpress Track" education and training program seminar series featuring the LTspice/SwitcherCAD III Seminar by one of their leading suppliers, Linear Technology. This 31-city global seminar series, which began on May 14th in the United States and on July 9th in China, offers engineers the opportunity to learn about the LTspice as a general purpose SPICE simulator for AC analysis, DC sweeps, noise analysis and circuit simulations. Seminar dates continue in both APAC and the US through the end of October, and features LTspice author/creator, Mike Engelhardt as the key note presenter.
SwitcherCAD III is a high performance Spice III simulator, schematic capture and waveform viewer with enhancements and models for easing the simulation of switching regulators. Linear Technology's enhancements to Spice have made simulating switching regulators extremely fast compared to normal Spice simulators, allowing the user to view waveforms for most switching regulators in just a few minutes.
"Nu Horizons is very pleased with the strong customer attendance and continued registrations to this innovative seminar series," said Rita Megling, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Nu Horizons. "The SwitcherCAD series provides design engineers with a unique opportunity to learn about this technology in a hands-on environment by its creator to expedite their design process."
