Ramtron showcases latest FRAM and MCU technologies on five-city seminar tour of China

Ramtron International Corporation, a leading developer and supplier of nonvolatile ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM) and integrated semiconductor products, in conjunction with its distributor Polar Star, recently completed a five-city seminar tour throughout China. Ramtron showcased its fast and flexible Versa 8051 microcontrollers and its industry-leading non-volatile FRAM memory technology. Engineers (pictured below in Beijing) were updated on Ramtron’s very latest product developments and their specific applications.

Alex Tsui, Ramtron Director of Sales, Asia Pacific, and David Lee, Ramtron Sales Manager of Taiwan provided engineers with the opportunity to have their questions answered directly.

Attending engineers from the participating cities (pictured below in Chengdu) were drawn from a diverse range of industries including military, aerospace, data collection, computing, automotive, security systems, industrial control, communications, financial electronics, and medical mechanics. These industries represent the target markets for Ramtron’s FRAM devices and MCUs.

A total audience of over 500 attended the seminars held in the major Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi’an, and Chengdu. The audience showed strong interest in Ramtron’s latest products and applications, and a lively Q and A session ensued at each venue.
