Ubidyne appoints Dr. Peter Kenington and Brian Jacks to Advisory Board

Ubidyne, the leader in digital radio technology for the cellular industry, has announced that Dr. Peter Kenington and Brian Jacks have joined the company’s Advisory Board.

Dr. Peter Kenington is a renowned lecturer at the University of Bristol, founder of Linear Communications and co-founder of Wireless Systems International (acquired by Andrew Corporation). Dr. Kenington holds the position of Technical Chair within the Open Base Station Architecture Initiative (OBSAI) and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (EIT), one of the world’s leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community. Dr. Kenington has authored more than fifty patents, one hundred technical papers and two books in the RF electronics field.

Brian Jacks is President of Crown Castle Solutions Corp (CCSC), a subsidiary of Crown Castle International (CCI) that focuses on providing neutral host shared distributed antenna systems to wireless service providers. Mr. Jacks was also President and Chairman of the Board for Crown Castle Atlantic LLC, a joint venture between Verizon Wireless and Crown Castle International Inc. Prior to joining CCI, he was an Executive Network Director for Verizon Wireless responsible for the expansion, performance, maintenance and modernization of the wireless network in New York.

Dr. Kenington and Mr. Jacks join the other members of Ubidyne’s Advisory Board, which includes Dr. Richard Roy, Founder of ArrayComm, Magnus Ryde, Venture Partner with Mars Capital Group and previously with FlexICs, TSMC and KLA-Tencor, and Mike Dager, CEO of Arxan and previously with Worksoft and OSE Systems.
