FTDI appoints first Indian distributor

Future Technology Devices International Limited (FTDI) has appointed its first distribution partner in India. A non-exclusive agreement has been signed with Embedded Systems Solutions Pvt Limited (ESS) that covers FTDI’s product line-up of USB connectivity ICs and modules. ESS, together with group company, Electro System Associates Pvt. Limited, have over 20 years experience of providing hardware and software development, debugging tools and services dedicated to embedded systems.

Vinculum provides USB Host capability to microcontroller-based products that previously did not have the resources available. A wide range of consumer, commercial, and industrial products can now incorporate USB Host connectivity with ease. In particular, Vinculum is perfect for providing USB flash drive capability to electronics devices, either portable or desktop.
