Mentor Graphics Corporation has announced a major expansion of its India operations with the opening of a new 20,000 square foot sales and support facility in Bangalore, India. This expansion is in line with the company’s strategic focus on India as a key region.
The new facility, directed and inaugurated by Pacrim South President Albert Khoo, augments Mentor Graphics India sales and support centre, located on Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Bangalore, India, which opened in 2004.
The new facility is the company's hub for all sales and support functions, and is Mentor’s third largest center in India. With a current workforce of more than 425 employees, the company expects local employment to grow as operations expand. The new facility replaces a previous 4,000-square-foot operation in Bangalore.
