Honeywell has opened a new manufacturing plant in Gurgaon, Haryana, for its System Sensor and Honeywell Analytics divisions.
This facility represents one of the largest investments in the India’s fire safety industry. It incorporates production designs and processes that have improved efficiencies at existing Honeywell manufacturing operations in the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, and China.
“We anticipate substantial job growth in manufacturing, facility maintenance, delivery, and administration as a result of this new operation.” said Arun Khazanchi, Director, System Sensor, India. Honeywell has invested $3 million in this facility, which has 32,000 square feet, which includes 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
In addition to serving customers in India, this factory will manufacture products that are sold to customers in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. It expects to deliver half a million fire alarm detectors and notification devices in its first full year of operation.
