AMD brings 45-watt processors, Athlon X2 4450e and X2 4050e

AMD has released two new 45-watt processors, Energy Efficient AMD Athlon X2 4450e and AMD Athlon X2 4050e processors. AMD’s newest 45-watt processors enable OEMs to offer differentiated solutions, enabling the development of smaller and sleeker form factors that can cut down on energy consumption, take up less space, and operate with less noise.

It is said that these AMD Athlon X2 45-watt processors are the latest effort by AMD to enable energy-efficient platform solutions that meet the performance and digital media consumption needs of users.
