IAR Systems strengthens presence in North America with opening of third US office

IAR Systems has strengthened its support for the US market with the opening of a new sales and support facility for the Central Region, and that it has appointed Will Rickett as Sales Manager Region USA Central, to head up the new team in Allen, near Dallas, Texas.
Will Rickett has twenty years experience in sales and marketing management, technical training, and design engineering in the semiconductor industry. He joins IAR Systems from Texas Instruments, where he had been Worldwide Marketing Manager for mass market ARM7 microcontrollers since 2004. Prior to joining TI, Will had held senior technical and field positions at both Hitachi and Altera. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
The new IAR Systems Dallas office will cover the entire central region of the USA up as far as the Great Lakes. Initially the team will consist of three people, but this is expected to expand as the business in the region develops.
