Nu Horizons opens additional sales locations in China, India and Vietnam

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp.--global distributor of advanced technology semiconductor, illumination and power solutions—announced the recent opening of several new sales locations in the Asia Pacific region. The offices, located in Hangzhou, China; Chennai, India; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were opened as an additional level of support for Nu Horizons new and growing customer base within this region, and as part of the company’s ongoing APAC expansion plans.

AK Tan, regional vice president of Greater China of Nu Horizons, said, "Hangzhou is one of the most active and dynamic electronics hubs in China. By adding sales and engineering resources in Hangzhou, it will enable us to better serve our customers in the Eastern China market."

SP Lim, regional vice president of South Asia of Nu Horizons, stated, "Chennai represents our fifth office within India. Its addition will bring us closer to our existing customers as well as identify new growth opportunity in India," Lim added, "Nu Horizons has also strategically expanded our distribution business in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Vietnam’s attractions include a low-cost advantage coupled with favorable government policy, and it is believed to be the next emerging electronics market in Asia after China and India."
