TI delivers 8-channel, DC/DC converter for digital still cameras

The TPS65530 is a highly integrated, 8-channel switching DC/DC converter with Power on/off sequencing, which eliminates the need for complicated firmware to control the device. Buck-boost converters for engine I/O and the analog front end allow higher efficiency at 3.3-V output in 1-cell, Li-Ion battery applications. It also features an integrated power FET at 7 channels and can be used in digital still cameras and portable electronics equipment.
