Elina Networks has appointed Shekar G Nair as the new Chief Executive Officer. Shekar was previously, part of the Asia-Pacific Sales leadership team at NetApp and was responsible for its OEM business. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of NetApp India Operations. Shekar co-founded Allegro Networks in California, USA and was responsible for product operations. Shekar was part of the inception team at Xylan and was instrumental in its successful IPO in 1996. Shekar will lead Elina through its next phase of expansion and growth. He will play a key role in scaling the company to become a global firm," said Vivek Shenoy, CTO, Elina Networks.
The company had recently announced its first release of the enterprise networking software ENPAQ, a comprehensive solution delivering networking, security and management features.
