Agilent Technologies, the world’s premier measurement company, today kicked off its much anticipated Agilent Digital Measurement Forum (ADMF) in Seoul, Korea. The annual forum, which brings together local and global industry leaders to address all digital-related measurement solutions from consumer electronics to high speed digital design, will be held in six countries in the Asia-Pacific region from June 19 to July 17.
In line with this year’s theme, “The Way Ahead for Digital Design Measurement”, ADMF 2008 will focus on key issues and trends influencing the future of digital design and testing. The best practices of digital solutions will be presented in the forum with a series of demonstration booths devoted to each solution. The full-day event includes a live and hands-on demonstration of the latest measurement technologies.
Agilent’s Asia Market Development Manager, Du Jiwei, said the digital industry is experiencing its most exciting period with the proliferation of digital products. “With Asia developing at a faster rate than anywhere else in the world, we are looking forward to a great event, with major industry players sharing their views and insights on where the digital measurement market is heading. Agilent, as the world’s leading measurement company, is committed to providing the digital engineering community with high-quality test solutions that enable success,” he said.
Key discussion topics at ADMF 2008 will include DigiRF; MIPI compliance testing; Super speed USB3.0; FPGA design testing and debugging; and low speed serial bus debugging including automotive buses. Partners and collaborators such as Xilinx, Mathworks, Rambus and Allion will be in attendance.
Xiaoming Liang, Advanced Product marketing Manager, Asia Pacific Region, Xilinx, said the ADMF Forum is the ideal one-stop venue for engineers and designers involved in digital design and measurement to gain new ideas and keep abreast of the fast-changing industry. “Digital design is evolving very rapidly and it is critical for those involved in the industry to be aware of future directions and market trends,” said Mr. Liang. Y.H. Xia, Geographic Application Manager, Greater China, Microchip Technology Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., described the annual forum as “an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and network with our industry colleagues”.
After the Seoul, the forum will move on to Penang, Malaysia, Bangalore and New Delhi in India, Singapore, Taipei and HsinChu in Taiwan and Beijing, Shanghai in China.
