Westcon Group announced that Dean Douglas has been named Chief Operating Officer, Westcon Group. Mr. Douglas will be responsible for all operational activities of the $3 billion organization, reporting directly to Tom Dolan, President and CEO.
Douglas is a seasoned senior executive in the technology field, with particular expertise in the telecommunications and wireless markets. In his previous role as Chief Executive Officer of LLC International, he led the company to become the world's largest independent wireless engineering professional services firm. He has held global, senior executive roles at both IBM and Motorola, where he managed industries such as distribution and telecommunications as well as worldwide business development.
