Andrew Wins Nokia Siemens Networks Supplier Innovation Award

(Business News, 21 Jul 2008 )

Andrew, the CommScope, Inc. division that is a global leader in communications products and systems, has won Nokia Siemens Networks’ Outstanding Contributor to Product Quality Award for its support of the global infrastructure provider in the Asia Pacific region.

Andrew was one of eight companies among Nokia Siemens Networks’ top 40 suppliers to be honored at Nokia Siemens Networks Supplier Innovation Awards Day 2008 in Singapore, and one of only two vendors recognized specifically in the area of product and service quality. Andrew was chosen for the product quality award for its introduction of smoothwall aluminum feeder cables, and in improving installation tools to meet domestic tower site conditions in Asia-Pacific.

Andrew and CommScope have had long-standing relationships with Nokia and Siemens, respectively, over the past decade before the two companies consolidated their networks business group and carrier-related operations in 2007.

Andrew also recently won NTT DoCoMo Inc’s ‘Best Partner Award’ for its outstanding telecommunications network infrastructure support during the last fiscal year. It was also named best partner by Samsung in South Korea and Globe in the Philippines during the last two years.
