Qualcomm Appoints John Stefanac as Vice President and President of Qualcomm Southeast Asia/Pacific

Qualcomm Incorporated has announced its appointment of John Stefanac as vice president and president of Qualcomm Southeast Asia/Pacific. In this role, Stefanac will oversee the execution of Qualcomm痴 market strategies and manage the Company痴 business operations throughout the region.

Stefanac has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technologies industries. He joins Qualcomm from Nokia Siemens Networks where as vice president and general manager of Asia/Pacific, he led the company痴 regional marketing and sales efforts. Previously, he served as vice president of sales and business development Asia/Pacific for Flextronics Network Services in Singapore. Stefanac also spent more than 10 years in leadership positions at Lucent Technologies/AT&T in Australia and Singapore, managing the company痴 in-country sales of optical networking equipment, wireless and broadband systems and software products to service providers.

Stefanac earned a Master痴 of Business Administration from Henley School of Management (UK).
