TI Delivers Tiny, Dual, Step-down DC/DC Controller

(Technology News, 08 Aug 2008 )

The TPS51125 is a cost-effective, dual, synchronous buck controller solution for notebook system power supply with internal 3.3-V and 5-V LDOs. It supports high efficiency at light loads and fast transient response with the D-CAPTM adaptive on-time control architecture. The integrated out-of-audio operation of the device improves noise performance. Input supply voltage range for the device is 5.5-V to 42-V and out voltage range is 2-V to 5.5-V. The TPS51125 can be used in notebook PCs and light-load, battery-powered equipment.
