AUO, Corning, Hitachi, LG Display, Sharp and SVA Group to Keynote at the Upcoming DisplaySearch 2008 China FPD Conference

DisplaySearch has unveiled its keynote speakers and announced a new session focused on Green Display & LCD Materials at its upcoming 2008 China FPD Conference. The conference will gather leading flat panel display manufacturers from China, Europe, Japan, Korea, North America and Taiwan. The event will cover areas such as OLEDs, PDPs and TFT LCDs, and involve leading display component suppliers, TV manufacturers, notebook PC/LCD monitor manufacturers, and industry and financial analysts. With over 350 attendees from over 15 countries, and touted as the most influential platform covering the China FPD industry, the two-day event will be held at Shanghai Rainbow Hotel on September 4-5, 2008.
Executives from AU Optronics, Corning, Hitachi, LG Display, Sharp, SVA Group and DisplaySearch will deliver keynote addresses at the conference. In addition, a special Green Display session at the conference will cover diversified green topics from power savings, cost efficiency, environmentally-friendly optical films, LED backlights and green flat panel display products. As environmental considerations are becoming paramount in flat panel display product designs and applications, the Green Display is a must-attend session.

· Hiroshi Kusao, Division General Manager, LCD Digital Systems Division of Sharp. Mr. Kusao will discuss Sharp’s product and capacity strategy to expand the LCD TV market through LCD TV set and panel supply practices.
· Hisakazu Torii, Vice President of DisplaySearch, will share global flat panel TV market trends and illustrate how flat panel TVs will substantially support FPD market growth.
· Bing Zhang, Research Director of DisplaySearch, will not only discuss opportunities and challenges in China’s vast TV market, but also share the insights about doing TV business in China.
