This power supply controller for unregulated output voltages achieves up to 97% system efficiency in an intermediate bus architecture. The UCC28230 PWM controller allows intermediate bus architecture power systems to combine the highest amount of energy savings, high power-density and low system costs in telecom and data communication systems with multiple downstream point-of-load conversions. It supports both the half-bridge and full-bridge topologies and reduces overall size and the need for external components.
