Loadstar Sensors Launches DS-3000 Series Display and Controller to Work With Load Cells

Loadstar Sensors has launched a new family of displays that are built to work seamlessly with its successful line of load cells. The new DS-3000 four-channel display is an integral device that incorporates display and controller functions combined into one. A user can connect up to four iLoad series load cells and view individual and/or total loads in three different units: Kilograms, Pounds and Newtons. Additionally, a user can interface via USB uplink to plot/chart the data to a PC. Optional relay outputs allow users to activate relays based on load limits in order to control up to 2 external devices.

The DS-3000 provides many key features in order to simplify the process of building a load measurement system:

* Accepts input from up to four iLoad series load cells
* Automatically sums loads from all connected load cells
* View individual load cell readings
* Display resolution 0.01 - 999.9
* Display units include Kilograms, Pounds or Newtons
* Optional Lithium-Ion Polymer battery for backup
* Optional wireless: Bluetooth or Zigbee
* Allows connectivity to PC using USB uplink
* Optional relays control up to 2 external devices
* 4-Digit LED display with 0.56 inch tall digits for easy readability
