Altera Launches SOPC World 2008 in Asia Pacific

WHAT:
Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced the dates and locations of its annual SOPC World conferences in Asia Pacific. The conference will be held in October across five cities in India and China.
Comprised of technical sessions and exhibitions, the conference will provide an opportunity for system designers to learn how to lower system costs, stay within tight power budgets and increase productivity. In the technical sessions, attendees will hear from Altera and its partners about advanced energy-efficient programmable devices and productivity-enhancing development tools.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
System designers who are concerned with quickly and cost-effectively introducing new capabilities and features, lowering power requirements, and improving performance and productivity should plan on attending SOPC World.
