Liaison Office becomes ESSEMTEC India’s Branch Office

(Business News, 14 Jan 2009 )

The Essemtec India liaison office was founded in 2007, to establish Essemtec business in the Indian and South East Asian markets. From January 2009, Essemtec India will operate as a branch office, offering total SMT solutions with full sales & service support to valuable customers.

“With the new status we have the opportunity to offer our customers the worldwide known Essemtec service;” mentioned Jay Kumar, Managing Director India. The branch office Service Department will act as service hub for Indian and South East Asian markets, which will reduce the service reaction times for customers in the region to a minimum. “Our service and support will become more flexible, because all service cases will be managed directly by the Indian service team, which is trained by the Swiss head quarters. Essemtec will be able to provide total application solutions plus operator and maintenance trainings;” explained Jay Kumar.

Essemtec India will open also a demo room in Bangalore during the first quarter of 2009. “This will be a new option to live demonstrate our products to our valuable customers,” said Jay Kumar. Beside this, Essemtec India will use the new facility for customer trainings and seminars.

“Indian electronic assembly market is growing fast and our product segments are well positioned to serve the Indian market,” Jay Kumar said. During the Componex Nepcon trade show (Hall No: 18, Stand No: 338) in February, Essemtec will inform about the opening of the new demo room.
