Fluke Networks has signed a definitive agreement to acquire wireless LAN solutions provider AirMagnet. The acquisition of AirMagnet is expected to create a global leader in the fast growing area of Wi-Fi testing and further strengthen Fluke Networks’ worldwide leadership in test and analysis for networks, regardless of media type.
AirMagnet provides products that allow enterprise IT organizations to ensure the availability, performance, security and compliance of wireless LAN infrastructure so that business applications can function without interruption. The company’s innovative products include AirMagnet Enterprise, the leading 24x7 WLAN security and performance management solution; AirMagnet Wi-Fi Analyzer, a widely adopted Wi-Fi troubleshooting tool; as well as AirMagnet Survey, AirMagnet Spectrum Analyzer, AirMagnet Planner and AirMedic.
