30W DC/DC converter features 91% efficiency

Aimtec's AM30EW-Z 30W DC/DC converters pack 15W/psi in a compact 2x1in package, saving up to 35 percent PCB space compared to other 30W converters in a 2x1.6in package. The devices feature ultra wide (4:1) input ranges of 9VDC to 36VDC and 18VDC to 75VDC. The AM30EW-Z series offers input/output isolation of 1.6kVDC, and provides single, dual and triple outputs, including 3.3, 5, 5.1, 12 and 15VDC, with a tight load regulation of ±0.5 percent (single output). The AM30EW-Z series also features soft start, which contributes to an MTBF of 3.2 million hours; remote ON/OFF control and a cold start up temperature of -40C°, allowing these robust modules to answer the needs of a broad range of industrial control and outdoor applications.
