XP Power’s LDU series of 0.3A to 1A PCB mount LED drivers, available in dimensions of 20.32x10.16x6.88mm, have a typical efficiency of 95 percent. Models within the series offer constant current outputs of 0.3, 0.35, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, or 1A. The non-isolated step-down drivers can accommodate a very wide range of input voltage from 7VDC to 30VDC.
Dimming options include two analog methods (voltage or resistance) or a pulse width modulation (PWM) input signal. The PWM approach has a maximum operating frequency of 1 kHz, with a minimum 200ns on/off time. When using an analog dimming method, the output current range can be adjusted from 25 percent to 100 percent of nominal current.
