Mouser Extends TT electronics’ Resistor Portfolio

(Business News, 18 Mar 2011 )

Mouser Electronics Inc. has expanded its distribution agreement with TT electronics by including the product range from Welwyn Components Ltd.

Building upon record sales and a continuous commitment to global expansion, the extended agreement further strengthens Mouser’s global reach, specifically into Europe, by providing customers with the complete TT electronics resistor portfolio. Mouser, renowned for its rapid introduction of the newest products and emerging technologies, anticipates that Welwyn’s application engineering focus will complement their strategy of supplying innovative solutions to design engineers.

When asked about the importance of this agreement to Mouser, Andy Kerr, Mouser Vice President of Passives, added, “It definitely gives us a stronger foothold into the European marketplace, plus demonstrates our commitment of supporting design engineers during product development by carrying both core and newer technologies from European-based technology leaders.”

Mark Burr-Lonnon, Mouser Vice President of EMEA and APAC Business, elaborated further, “We’re intensely focused on providing today’s design engineers with the highest level of service, cutting-edge products from top suppliers, detailed product specs and fast, low-cost delivery. Our success at the Elektra awards, where we were named 2010 European Distributor of the Year, combined with our aggressive global expansion into new markets ensures that businesses like TT electronics and Welwyn Components recognize us as a key partner and international business ally.”

“Giving design engineers quick and easy access to our wide range of components is central to our business model and essential for growth. We are delighted to develop the Mouser partnership and support and enhance their new product development strategy,” said David Winter, VP of Global Sales at TT electronics.
