Micrel Appoints New VP of Analog Engineering

Micrel Inc. has appointed Dr. Bruce C. Larson, a semiconductor industry veteran, as the Company's Vice President of Analog Engineering. He will report directly to Micrel's Senior Vice President of Analog Mansour Izadinia.

Dr. Larson brings to Micrel extensive experience in analog design. He most recently worked for Active-Semi International where he was responsible for worldwide Research and Development including design engineering, IC layout and internal applications. He also served as that Company's General Manager for its Hanoi R&D Center. Prior to this, he was with Maxim Integrated Products for more than ten years where he held various key technical executive positions including Design Center Director. Dr. Larson earned his doctorate and Masters of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Houston.
