Renesas Electronics Corp. has strengthened its portfolio of power semiconductor devices by launching 100A power MOSFETs for motor drive applications in consumer products, such as cordless power tools and power-assisted bicycles. The latest power MOSFETs cover a wide range of voltages, with three new products, including the N0413N, having a voltage tolerance of 40V, and three others, including the N0601N, having a voltage tolerance of 60V. The devices have loss levels among the lowest in the industry, making them ideal for extending battery life.
The N0413N has an on-resistance (Ron) of only 2.7mΩ, and the N0601N has an Ron of only 3.3mΩ (VGSS = 10V standard value in both cases). The new products are available with in three package types, the TO-220AB and TO-262 and the surface-mount TO-263, for a total of six versions.
