Bourns Receives Bosch Supplier Award

(Business News, 28 Jul 2011 )

Bourns Inc.'s Automotive Division has received the prestigious Bosch Supplier Award from the Robert Bosch GmbH. The Bosch award recognizes companies that have performed particularly well in manufacturing and supplying products or services over the past two years – especially in terms of quality, pricing, reliability, technology, and continuous improvement.

“The Bosch Supplier Award goes to outstanding suppliers who play a key role in the Bosch Group’s success and work with us on the further development and improvement of our products and manufacturing processes,” said Franz Fehrenbach, Chairman of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH.

“Bourns is thrilled to have participated in the Bosch Group’s success and thankful our beneficial relationship continues to grow,” said Jeff Pyle, Vice President of Bourns Automotive Division. “This award further confirms Bourns’ commitment to providing the highest quality and superior performing position and angle sensors available today. We look forward to many more years of partnering with the Bosch Group to help enhance manufacturing processes and the development of future products.”

The Bosch Group presents its global supplier award every two years. This is the twelfth time the awards have been presented since 1987. There were no awards given in 2009 due to the global financial and economic downturn. For 2010, a total of 60 suppliers from 14 countries received awards in seven categories.
