Energy Micro has appointed ZLG as its distributor for ultra low power ARM Cortex-based Gecko MCU and EFR4 Draco radio devices in China. Specializing in programmable semiconductor solutions, ZLG will support Energy Micro's product range through a country-wide technical seminar program and University project. The company will likewise create a dedicated Energy Micro product management and field application engineering team.
Energy Micro’s VP for sales and marketing, Asia Pacific, Andrea Marchi added, “Energy saving and achieving the longest possible battery life have become paramount concerns for product designs and low power microcontrollers. Radio devices now have a critical role to play. ZLG reaches into many market sectors in China where our EFM32 Gecko and EFR4 Draco products can provide significant advantages."
ZLG owner and CEO, George Zhou said, “We have in-depth experience in designing ARM-based microcontrollers, and are currently facing increasing demands for semiconductor solutions. Energy Micro’s energy-friendly products are a great fit in our product portfolio, and respond directly to strong customer needs in a broad range of energy-sensitive application areas.”
