MIPS joins Renesas’ SoC partner program

MIPS Technologies, Inc. has joined the Renesas Electronics Corp.’ SoC Partner Program. The latter is a long-time licensee of the MIPS64 architecture and processor cores including the MIPS32 74K, 24KE and 4KE cores. The program promotes collaboration with its partners based on the Renesas SoC platform targeting the mobile, automotive, and home audio-visual device segments. MIPS will work with Renesas Electronics and focus on the digital home market.
