Adlink Technology recently unveiled the ATCA-6890 Advanced T C A processor blade for telecommunications and n e t w o r k - communication applications. Featuring Intel’s low voltage Xeon processors, the ATCA-6890 is available in a dual-2.8GHz- and single-3.2GHzprocessor configurations. The blade also features the Intel E7520 chipset and supports as much as 16Gbytes of DDR2-400 memory. Peripherals include six Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 10/ 100/1000Mbit Ethernet-maintenance port, four USB 2.0 ports, two PMC sites, analog and flat-panel video, four ATA ports, and two serial ports. The ATCA-6890 is priced at $4000.
