Small microwave analyzer for mobile use and production up to 43GHz

( 01 Dec 2005 )

With the U3771 (31.8GHz) and U3772 (43GHz) spectrum analyzers from Advantest, Rohde & Schwarz is presenting two other models of the U37xx family. Both spectrum analyzers are portable and ideal for installing and maintaining microwave link systems in base stations. Due to its low weight and small dimensions, the U3772 is said to be ¡°the smallest microwave analyzer up to 43GHz on the market.¡± Both analyzers can also be used in production, monitoring or servicing radar equipment and systems, as well as in radio relay or satellite communications. The instruments are equipped with two switchable RF inputs, making it possible for example, to measure the IF signal at the first RF input (9kHz to 8Hz), and the carrier signal at the second RF input (10MHz to 43GHz), and display them together on the color screen. The analyzers are compact in design and offer high input sensitivity.
