Triple-input video switch IC handles high-definition video
( 01 Nov 2005 )
The FSAV433 three-port 3:1 video switch from Fairchild Semiconductor is designed for LCD displays that need to switch among multiple signal sources. It handles RGB or YPbPR signals with 550MHz 3dB bandwidth; differential gain error of 0.2%; differential phase error of 0.1 degree (both typical); off isolation of 75dB; and crosstalk isolation of –85dB; all of which contribute to video signal integrate and transparent operation. The 20-pin IC (TSSOP or DQFN package) consumes less than 1µA quiescent current and has on-resistance of just 6.5§Ù, for low signal insertion loss. It is priced at $1.50 (1000 pieces).
