Like its smaller siblings, the TOP250 integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, fault protection, and other needed control circuitry into a single CMOS device. In addition, it includes soft-start to minimize stress on supply components, frequency dithering to spread EMI across a wider band with lower values in any band segment, and under- and over-voltage protection.
