Infineon appoints vice president and MD in India

Infineon Technologies India Pvt Ltd has appointed Albert Stritter as the new managing director in charge of strategy and direction to further develop its biggest software development center. The India R&D center currently employs over 600 highly talented professionals and contributes significantly in development of leading edge technologies like VoIP, mobile software, baseband technologies as well as the design flow and library development.

Albert brings over 20 years of extensive knowledge in the semiconductor and EDA markets spanning across Europe and America. Under Albert's leadership, Infineon India is poised to develop as one of the major players in the Indian Semiconductor market. Albert holds a Master's and Doctorate degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy and is a member of IEEE. Albert serves as the speaker of the Board of Directors of EDA Centrum in Germany.
