Motorola Inc., in wireless and broadband communications, announced the release of the Scalable Dimetra IP, IP based TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked Radio) network for mission critical customers. The Scalable Dimetra IP leverages the power of Motorola’s Dimetra IP architecture in enabling scalability for Motorola’s TETRA system.
The new Dimetra IP is a scalable solution offering mission critical user the choice of structured deployment, supporting growth as user demand and budgets allow. Users can start from a single site and scale up to wide deployment with ease, and add on features and capacity as their needs grow. This makes the solution especially ideal for deployment in a crisis, emergency and other mission critical situations.
