IronPort, provider of network management and protection against Internet threats, announced its plan to expand their channel base in India along with providing training to partners to move up the value chain.
The has two levels of certifications for their channel partners to move up the value chain. Those who have the resources and the expertise will qualify for level 2, while others will comprise at level 1. To make the partners of level 2 stronger in service, there will be 60-65 engineers per location to address the customer queries along with 24 x 7 telephonic supports for the customers.
Ambarish Deshpande, regional director for India and SAARC at IronPort Systems, said, "We are going to expand our channel base as the security market is growing and there is lot of spam happening with the messages. We also want our existing partners to know and understand the products for which we are also giving a lot of importance to training," he added. "The vendor has conducted trainings in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and has trained 42 engineers."
