BittWare's line of hybrid FPGA/DSP products drives growth

BittWare Inc., supplier of hybrid (FPGA and DSP) board-level solutions based on Altera’s FPGA technology, and Analog Devices’ SHARC technology, announced that the company has once again exceeded all prior years’ sales records. Sales and profits surpassed expectations making 2006 the company’s most successful year yet in 17 years of operation.
Darren Taylor, senior vice president of sales and marketing at BittWare, said, “The past year has been a time of technological change for BittWare - moving from DSP-only designs to our hybrid products, which incorporate both FPGAs and DSPs. Our continued growth indicates that hybrid architectures are providing our customers with the solutions they need to effectively and efficiently enable their most complex signal processing applications.”
