This Optical Time Domain Reflectometer integrates various useful functions into a compact, light-weight device. The waterproof exterior makes it suitable for use in adverse environments. With a high contrast LCD display, the mini OTDR features user friendly touch screen operations and long lasting battery life. This useful device conveniently measures unit/connection/transmission loss and accurately locates faults or breaks in optical fibers. GAO6413 has a high precise sample resolution and a large capacity for sampling points. The event dead zone can be measured within 1.6m and the read/write file is compliant with the Bellcore GR196 file format. The fiber test instrument has intelligent battery capacity display with a long battery operating life of up to 8 hours. The OTDR also comes with USB interface, serial port and parallel interface to transfer data into PCs and notebooks.
